Decatur Family YMCA

For nearly 80 years, the Decatur Family YMCA has been a trusted gathering place for individuals and families across Decatur, Druid Hills, Avondale Estates, Scottdale, Candler Park and Lake Claire. Since opening in 1946, the Y has helped strengthen community through programs, relationships and opportunities that support people at every stage of life.

The Decatur Family YMCA has a long history of innovation and impact, including helping launch one of the nation’s first YMCA youth soccer programs in 1968. That spirit of leadership and community connection continues today through programs and experiences designed to help children, teens and adults learn, grow and thrive.
