Volunteer for a Day of Service With the YMCA

The YMCA began as an all-volunteer organization, and to this day, volunteers play an integral role in everything we do. From strategic planning to fundraising, from coaching to reading to a child, volunteers are the heart of our Y.

We believe that all people, especially children, deserve an equal chance to reach their full potential, and our programs are designed to address the unmet needs within the communities we serve. Together we can make a significant impact for children and families throughout Atlanta.

YMCA Days of Service will take place on September 13 and 14 at more than 20 service project locations throughout the metro Atlanta area. In 2018, the YMCA of Metro Atlanta gathered more than 1,600 partners, members, staff and volunteers to complete 22 service projects.

This September, we invite you to volunteer with us and help us reach our goal of 2000+ volunteers working to serve the Atlanta community. Friday, September 13 is geared toward corporate teams and Saturday, September 14 will feature regional service projects in conjunction with our Y facilities and service areas across metro Atlanta.
