PGA TOUR Champion Rory McIlroy and UnitedHealth Group Fund YMCA Youth Fit 4 Life Afterschool Program

In partnership with PGA TOUR champion Rory McIlroy, UnitedHealth Group will fund the East Lake Family YMCA Youth Fit 4 Life afterschool program for 165 students at Ivy Preparatory Academy this school year.

During McIlroy’s recent visit to Atlanta for the TOUR Championship in East Lake, he took time away from his practice session to share golf tips with students in the Youth Fit 4 Life afterschool program. He also asked the children to join him in the What’s Your 30 challenge, a health and wellness campaign where you choose one thing to commit to for the next month in order to build healthy habits.

Watch the video below to learn more about the partnership, and see Rory and the children exercising and having fun.

Youth Fit 4 Life is a YMCA signature program that teaches children how to set goals and make healthy choices at a young age.
