Kids at The Villages at Carver Family Y Have a Ball With Cardlytics

Kirk Somers was looking for ways to give back to the community as part of Cardlytics’ 12 Days of Wellness program. Just before the holidays, the Cardlytics team and Kirk, who is the Chief Legal & People Officer of Cardlytics and also a new YMCA of Metro Atlanta board member, delivered a slam-dunk surprise gift of five dozen basketballs to the kids at The Villages at Carver Family YMCA. They even spent time with the children on the court.

According to Kirk, Cardlytics was excited to add some fun into the day for the kids while focusing on wellness and staying active. So much more than a day of service, the afternoon included a pep-rally atmosphere, complete with music, refreshments and hot chocolate! The kids and Cardlytics staff members had a great time playing basketball together and making memories during the holiday season.

“Thanks to Cardlytics, Kirk, and his team for the random acts of kindness that were shown on December 10th at the Villages at Carver Family YMCA,” said Montiel Weeks, Executive Director of The Villages at Carver Family YMCA. “We are so grateful, and we are lucky to have Kirk join the board of our YMCA association.”
