Showing Up for Yourself and for Friends

Showing up requires intelligence, intuition, empathy, generosity, confidence, and a willingness to be vulnerable. It doesn’t just happen; it takes a level of intentionality, effort, and practice. And truly showing up for others requires you to do something that can be even harder — to show up for yourself first. That means really getting to know yourself, taking care of your physical and mental health, being kind to yourself, and setting boundaries.  Check out this guide to showing up for others and yourself.

Operation Lift Spirits

Time to take out your pens and lift some spirits. Cards or letters are needed for residents at our local nursing homes. Let’s help brighten the day for those who cannot get outside and may feel isolated at this time. Call your local nursing home and see if you can drop off cards and letters at the reception desk or if they need to be mailed to the home. Enlist your friends and family in this project. Let’s see if we can lift the spirits of many!
