Georgia Pre-K
We are pleased to offer the Georgia Pre-K Program, funded by the Georgia State Lottery. This pre-kindergarten program emphasizes growth in language and literacy, math and science concepts, art and music, physical development and social concepts.
The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is the largest non-profit provider of state funded Pre-K with 15 classes at three of our pre-school locations. The goal of the program is to provide a well balanced program utilizing a state approved curriculum addressing skills in school readiness incorporating developmentally appropriate practices.
