Goals of the YMCA Child Care Program

YMCAs are committed to developing the whole child.  Finding the spirit, mind and body balance is critical.  Developing social competence in the early years is key to success in life.  Play yields creative and upbeat results.  Some of our goals are as follows:

• To help children develop to their fullest potential
• To support and strengthen the family unit
• To deliver child care in a caring, safe and positive environment
• To provide quality child care at reasonable rates

• Infant and Toddler Care
• Preschool
• Early Fours (Children not 4 by September 1st for Pre-K)
• Tallatoona Head Start 
• Lottery Funded Georgia Pre-K through  Bright from the Start   
  • Pre-K calendar basically coincides with the Paulding County School calendar
