The Need:  Children in poor quality child care have demonstrated delayed language and reading skills and display more aggression toward other children and adults.

The Benefit:  The YMCA's quality child care and early education programs help to shape the way children think, learn and behave for the rest of their lives.

In 2003, the Metro Atlanta YMCA helped 2,305 children develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically in safe pre-school programs and facilities.
