Membership

Your Metro Atlanta YMCA membership allows you full access to all Metro Atlanta YMCA facilities, exercise classes and reduced fees on all Y programming. You are also part of the YMCA- AWAY program that entitles you to full access to YMCAs outside the Metro Atlanta area for little to no fee daily fee!

You Belong at the YMCA! 

Facility membership rates include a Joiner's Fee and monthly membership dues.  As a facility member you are welcome to visit as often as you like to use the facilities and equipment and take unlimited group exercise classes as a benefit of membership-- all for one monthly fee.

Financial Assistance: Because the Y is for everyone, we offer financial assistance to those who want to participate in membership services or Y programs regardless of their ability to pay.  Copies of all supporting documentation must be submitted with the application.  We cannot make copies of your supporting documents.

Membership Rates & Catergories

FACILITY MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES:  

Family - Joining Fee $190; monthly rate $81

All family members must reside at the same address. 

This includes:

• Two adults over 18 living at the same address;
• Unlimited number of dependents under 18 living at the same residence;
• Full-time students taking 12 or more hours credit in any post-secondary program and living at the residence. A student I.D., current class schedule and I.D. with correct family address must be presented;
• Individuals with physical or mental disabilities living at the residence;
• One senior 60 years of age or older living at the residence along with the two adults;
• One au pair can be included in the family membership if living with the member, renewable every 6 months;
• Part-time caregivers, seasonally employed by members, have access to the YMCA only while overseeing a member’s child. Guest passes will be issued.

Two Adults - Joining Fee $175; monthly fee $76
Both adults living at the same address, no children.

Adult - Joining Fee $126; monthly fee $53
One adult, age 25 -59.

Young Adult - Joining Fee $75; monthly fee $35
One adult 19 - 24 years of age.

Teen - Joining Fee $58; monthly fee $30
A person 13 - 18 years of age.
Teen members need not be accompanied by a parent or guardian.   

Youth - Joining Fee $0; monthly fee $10
A child from 3 months to 12 years of age.
Parent or guardian is required to have an adult membership.

Senior Family - Joining Fee $168; monthly fee $70
Two adults, one of whom is 60 or older, living at the same residence.
Includes dependents living at the same residence, as described in the family member category.

Senior Adult - Joining Fee $115; monthly fee $50
One adult, age 60 or older.

Students on Summer Break
Full-time students taking 12 or more credit hours in any school program. A student I.D. card and spring class schedule must be presented.
One- to three-month memberships are available for June, July and August.
Dues must be paid in advance.

PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP:
Facility membership is not a requirement for program enrollment. Some individuals may wish only to be involved in specific programs. An annual program membership allows community members to enjoy classes including swimming lessons, tennis lessons, gymnastics, and more. The fee is for program membership only and does not cover the cost of any class. This option is offered for specific programs only.  Please see a Member Services staff member for details.
