Family programs help people grow as responsible family members. They provide children and their parents with activities that foster understanding, companionship and support. Join us for pool parties, bingo, holiday activities and other get-togethers. Teen programs give kids good role models to help them develop cooperation, leadership, respect for the body, good citizenship, and strong character values. Come to teen night with fun, challenging activities and access to all recreation and exercise areas in a supervised environment. Leaders clubs are designed to involve young adults in the YMCA. These programs are a mix of social and human service programs designed to provide people with the skills required to participate in their personal, family and community lives. We offer programs for unemployed parents, juvenile youth, teen mothers, families, and at-risk youth. All programs are designed to develop self-reliance and self-sufficiency, life skills, career planning and development.
Active Older Adults
Different programs stress a three-way approach for seniors, involving health and fitness, social activities and opportunities for volunteerism. We also offer programing specific to our active older adult population, such as Senior Fitness, Senior Chair Aerobics and Senior Water Aerobics. Click here to find out more about Group Exercise.
The YMCA offers programs and services to people of all abilities, including those with physical or mental disabilities.
