Tell me more about Metro Atlanta YMCA membership.
The Metro Atlanta YMCA has two types of memberships: a facility membership and a program membership.  For more detailed information please contact our membership department at 404-350-9292 or stop by our branch for a facility tour.

Facility Membership
Your facility membership allows you access and use of all Metro Atlanta YMCA branches; entitles you to discounts on most program fees; and allows you to visit YMCAs over 50 miles outside of the metro Atlanta area through the Always Welcome At the YMCA (AWAY) program.  A list of participating YMCAs is available at the front desk or online at the YMCA of the USA website.

Memberships rates are paid through either a monthly credit card draft or bank draft from your checking account or a semiannual or annual payment.  A one-time join fee is paid upon joining the YMCA.  This is a one-time mission investment fee used for non-expansion capital improvements and equipment upgrades.

Program Membership
Program memberships are designed for those who would like to participate in selected YMCA lessons, programs or activities but do not need use of the facility amenities.  Program members pay a nominal annual membership fee and pay at the program rate for the programs in which they would like to participate.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance is available based on need.  The YMCA actively seeks to identify and involve those in need.
