The city funded the construction of the facility through impact fees, and the YMCA now programs the facility. This exciting, new full-facility, family YMCA opened December 17, 2005.
The YMCA includes an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, and mini water park, basketball court, teen center, wellness center, group exercise studio, cycle studio, multi-purpose activity rooms, child care areas, traditional, and family locker rooms, offices, the Reinhardt College Room, and the Cherokee County Sports Hall of Fame.
