SWIM LESSONS
The YMCA has been teaching swimming lessons to children and adults for over 100 years. Learning to swim at the YMCA is more than just stroke development. Children are taught with others of their own age and skill level. Our program allows the child to take an active role in learning by allowing them to explore their own abilities at their own pace. The YMCA creates a friendly, fun environment that encourages a better understanding of swimming. We hope that you will join us in one of our many classes offered year round.

YMCA SWIM POLICY FOR CHILDREN:
In order for a child to swim unaccompanied by a parent, the child must be able to pass the swim test. The swim test consists of swimming one length of the pool front crawl and treading water for one minute. Parents must be present when the test is given. Parents of children 7 and under who can pass the swim test must remain on the pool deck. Children who cannot pass the swim test must have a parent in the pool with them at all times.

MASTERS SWIM
The Masters Swim program is open to Facility Members 18 years and older. This is an on going program that will focus on stroke technique, training ,and endurance through challenging workouts. You do not have to be an excellent swimmer; this program is for all swimming levels and abilities. The objectives of Master Swim are to enhance swimming ability, improve speed and endurance, set and achieve personal fitness goals, and to improve overall health and fitness.
Schedule: Tuesday and Thursdays from 6:00a.m. - 7:30a.m.

FAMILY FUN OUTDOOR POOL:
The Ed Isakson/Alpharetta Family YMCA Outdoor Pool is the place to be in the summer. The Outdoor Pool features zero entry, diving board, waterslide, and a fun time for the whole family. The Outdoor Pool is an amenity for Facility Members only. The outdoor pool will reopen Memorial Day Weekend!

Monday through Friday 11am to 8pm
Saturday 11am to 5:30 pm
Sunday 12:00pm to 5:30 pm
*ODP closes at 5:00 pm on Holidays
