Video on how you can help

Partner With Youth Annual Giving Campaign
Help make your community a better place through the YMCA!  By giving your time, talent and/or financial support, you join thousands of who have helped the YMCA meet the needs in our community.

Every day, thousands of people come to the YMCA to participate in programs and have fun. They find what they are looking for and much more.  But for some in our community, these life changing experiences are out of their reach.  Through Partner With Youth, the YMCA annual giving campaign, we help to overcome those financial barriers and make the YMCA accessible and open to the entire community.  Partner With Youth Campaign funds are used to provide financial assistance to families and individuals who otherwise could not afford to participate.

How Can You "Create Your Own Impact"?
Here are just a few ways that you can make a difference when you give to the Partner With Youth Campaign:

  • Send a YMCA Prime Time kid back to school with all the supplies he/she will need to succeed - $50
  • Sponsor a child in learn-to-swim lessons so they develop water safety skills and gain self-confidence. - $90
  • Give a child an opportunity to develop team work, self-confidence and fundamental skills by playing on a recreational sports team - $150
  • Create life long memories and friendships by sending a child to summer day camp for 2 weeks – $275
  • Strengthen a single-parent family with young children with a semester of supervised, after-school enrichment – $550
  • Send a young man or woman to the Advanced Leadership Academy, a mentoring program for ages 14-17 that provides knowledge and experience to become a highly skilled teen leader - $890
  • Help to provide the start up cost of a disabled sports program. Give physically disabled youth and young adults an opportunity to participate in a wheelchair soccer or basketball league - $1,000
  • Send one teenager on a one-week, international mission trip to experience another culture and work with local youth by participating in community service projects - $1,500

Your contributions help individuals and families in our North Fulton communities.

 In 2007 more than 3000 people benefited from $367,415 in scholarships.  Below are just a few of the ways your gifts made a difference in the lives of youth and families by helping us to:

  • Create  life-long memories and friendships by sending 125 children to in summer camp and youth sports;
  • Give 76 youth  the opportunity to focus on changing  their exercise attitudes and adapting healthy lifestyles through the Youth Fit for Life program to combat obesity;
  • Help 64 special needs children and young adults learn valuable skills and build self esteem through team sports, and social interaction programs;
  • Invest in 1,600 young people by providing programs that emphasize the value of leadership, personal accountability and opportunities to become engaged citizens through service in their community;
  • Engage 76 senior adults with opportunities for social interaction;
  • Enrich 740 families' lives through membership in the pursuit of their personal growth and enriching their spirits minds and bodies.

Our Board of Directors has set a challenge goal for 2008 of $300,000.
