More than 550 campers benefited from $168,000 in scholarships in 2007. Here are some of the results of your generous Partner With Youth contributions:

• Children learned new skills in an outdoor environment;
• The campers’ daily activities reinforced the character values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility and focused on the mission of developing spirit, mind, and body in all;
• Young people challenged themselves and increased their self-confidence through adventure-based specialty programs;
• Teens who served as Leaders-in-Training to become future counselors received hands-on leadership experience and learned the importance of serving others.

YMCA Camp High Harbour gets results with quality programming, professional staff members, specialty programs, and general camp activities. The YMCA is committed to providing financial assistance to those who cannot afford the full price of summer resident camp. We always run out of money before we run out of people who need help.

Ways that YOU can change a camper’s life…

•$725 will provide one child 7-17 years old with a week of summer resident camp.

•$1540 will provide a young person 13-15 years old with two weeks of Advanced Leadership Camp.

•$1975 will provide a young person 14-17 years old with three weeks of Leaders-In-Training.

Any size donations are greatly appreciated and all donations are fully tax deductible.
