What to bring to the YMCA's Summer Day Camps: Eagle Point & Covenant Christian Mini Camp
  • Bring a packed lunch (mayo & dairy not recommended)
  • Water Bottle, 2 snacks, extra drink- frozen water works well
  • Bathing Suit, Towel and a change of clothes
  • Water Shoes for Camp Eagle Point
  • 5 and 6 year olds Rising Stars: Please arrive with swimsuit on.
  • Sunscreen (the spray kind) Please apply sunscreen to your child prior to dropping them off at camp.
  • If you are using the Bus Service: Stop #2 is Bethelview/Ingles not the Avenue

SUMMER DAY CAMP 2009
Mini Camp: Ages 3-12

Please view our New Summer Day Camp Program that will be held at Covenant Christian Academy located on Post Road. Open enrollment will begin March 28th at 9:00am. Registration forms will be available on-line and at the Facility starting March 28th.

The Forsyth County Family YMCA offers a summer day camps for kids at Eagle Point on Lake Lanier and locally at Covenant Christian.

2009 Camp Sessions and Dates: 
Session 1: May 25- June 5   (Camp is Open Memorial Day from 8:00am-2:00pm))
Session 2: June 8- June 19
Session 3: June 22- July 3 
Session 4: July 6- July 17
Session 5: July 20- August 1
*Session 6: August 3-August 7   (* Session 6 is One Week Only* - Facility Members: $150  & Program Members: $170)

Rising Stars: 5 - 6 years
HotShots: 7 - 8 years
Soaring Eagles: 9 - 10 years                                                     
Flying Aces: 11 - 12 years


Camp Fees For Two Week Sessions:
Facility Members: $250
Program Members: $270

Bus Transportation & Fees:
$35 Round Trip

TIME:
Pre Camp: 7:00 a.m. till 9:00 a.m.
Regular Camp: 9:00 a.m. till 4:00                
Post Camp: 4:00 p.m. till 6:30 p.m.



Financial Assistance is available for all programs based on need.

TRANSPORTATION: For an additional fee, the YMCA offers five convenient bus stops throughout Forsyth County.

ACTIVITIES & DETAILS:  Located on Lake Lanier off exit 15 on Georgia 400, YMCA Eagle Point Day Camp offers a rustic environment for children to experience summer camp in a setting unlike any other in Forsyth County. The YMCA provides a safe, wholesome environment for campers of all ages. We offer the most traditional day camp experience with age appropriate activities such as: tubing, canoeing, archery, arts & crafts, fishing, nature activities, supervised swimming, group games, and more. Each camp program provides quality leadership and instruction in a supervised setting. The YMCA prides itself on creating a positive, fun and exciting environment for each child to grow physically, mentally, socially and spiritually so they may reach their greatest God-given potential while emphasizing the core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
