The YMCA Tennis Center is on a separate site from the Forsyth County Family YMCA’s main location.  It’s about 10 minutes away with a clubhouse and 5 courts.  Tennis courts can be reserved one day in advance for one-and-one-half hour increments available.  There will also be a walk-on hard court (#5) at all times for your convenience.  All names of a group should be given at the time of reservation.  Please see our guest policy below for any questions about individuals who are not members of the YMCA.  We look forward to serving you!

• Racquet re-stringing services available with fee: Price is determined by type of racquet you have as well as string choice.  Ernie Quin does our stringing for the tennis center.
  
• Ball machine available for members only:  $15/hour fee
  Professionally run programs available – see the main YMCA location for registration for both youth and adult programs.
  
• Open play court time can be reserved by YMCA members by calling in advance to reserve a court for open play.  You can reserve a court up to 24 hours in advance.  Then, the day of – it’s subject to court availability on a first come, first serve basis.  There will also always be a walk-on court available for your convenience that is also on a first come, first serve basis without a reservation needed.

TennisCenterMembership Fees:

In order to reserve the tennis courts or the ball machine you must be a YMCA Facility Member. These services are not offered for program members.

A program member will be able to sign-up and participate in the classes offered at the Tennis Center and will register within the program member guidelines and prices at the Forsyth County Family YMCA’s main location.

The YMCA is a drug & alcohol free facility.  Alcohol or foul language will not be allowed on the property of the YMCA tennis center.  The YMCA staff and pros reserve the right to suspend play at any time to enforce these rules.

Childcare is not available at the tennis center nor at the main YMCA’s location for tennis purposes.  You are responsible for supervising your children not participating in a program at all times.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

Guest Policy:
Facility members are allowed to bring two guests per day.  Each guest is entitled one free visit per branch per year.  Facility members may request additional passes for their out-of-town guests.  The facility member must accompany their out-of-town guests on the initial visit.  A picture ID and signed waiver is required for all guests.  All passes are issued at the discretion of the Forsyth County Family YMCA Tennis Center.
