Community Services- 
These programs are a mix of social and human service programs designed to provide people with the skills required to participate in their personal, family and community lives. We offer programs for unemployed parents, juvenile youth, teen mothers, families, and at-risk youth. All programs are designed to develop self-reliance and self-sufficiency, life skills, career planning and development.  The East Lake Family YMCA provides community programs for all East Lake and surrounding neighborhood residents. 

Eastlake Family YMCA  Drew Charter School Aquatics Program-
The Eastlake Family YMCA in Collaboration with Charles R. Drew School is offering a comprehensive Physical Education program serving over 300 students per day.  One special feature is the swimming component.   Swimming is an important survival skill but it is also a wonderful way to stay healthy for life.  The YMCA nurtures the healthy and successful development of children in all of its programs.  Our program is designed to teach the beginner and improve the skills of the advanced swimmer.  For further information on our partnership and collaboration with Drew Charter School contact Franklin Hamilton at 404-373-6561 ext. 5636.
