Inclusion is at the heart of the YMCA Mission. As a nonprofit, community-building charity, the Metro Atlanta YMCA strives to make its programs widely affordable and accessible. Partner With Youth is the Metro Atlanta YMCA's annual giving campaign. It allow us to reach out to all children - regardless of family income - by providing program support and financial assistance for childcare, summer day camp, parent-child activities, and more. Membership and program fees are insufficient funding sources to respond to the significant needs in the community. This is why we invite friends and members like you to help make these programs more affordable and accessible.

"The Y's a place where all ages and genders can come, and there's always something for everyone to enjoy."
"As a youth the YMCA has made an impact in my life. The first time I got the chance to volunteer was as a teen I got to read to the younger children and assist with youth sports activities. The YMCA taught me the value of teamwork and setting goals. When I volunteer, I feel I'm impacting someone else's life, and that's a great feeling."
"The YMCA has something for everybody to get involved with. Everyone gets a chance to break off and enjoy what they love best. I think we see so many families come to the East Lake Family Y because the whole family enjoys every aspect of the environment."
Barbara Storey has been volunteering at the East Lake Family YMCA for eight years as a Partner With Youth annual campaigner and contributor and is an active branch board member serving on the membership committee. Barbara Storey is also a volunteer with United Way, American Red Cross and Atlanta Parks and Recreation. She is also the Chief Financial Officer at A-Action Janitorial and Vending with husband Stanley and daughters Chiquita and Brittany.
