School Break Camp
Summer Day Camp at the Cherokee Outdoor Family YMCA is a unique experience that your child will
never forget. We are located on 225 acres of land that rests next to beautiful Lake Allatoona. Your
child will have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of camp activities to attend this summer,
depending on age and camp availability.

Welcome to School Break Camp!
Ages 5 -12

We are ecstatic that you have chosen the Cherokee County YMCA’s School Break Camp
for your child.  We have an exciting week planned and are looking forward to providing your
camper with the best possible experience.

Our Staff

Our staff is highly trained to provide a safe camping environment for our campers.  The staff
is closely supervised by our directors and leadership staff.

YMCA Character Development

The YMCA is dedicated to helping children grow in spirit, mind and body by implementing our
core values of respect, responsibility, honesty, and caring in our programs.  Your campers will
experience and develop an understanding of our core values through our directors, counselors,
and other campers.

Daily Activities

During the day your child will participate in arts & crafts, field games, character education,
and fun wholesome activities with staff that care.  During pre and post camp children will have
the opportunity to participate in organized games.  Kids will abound in the great outdoors on
trails, field games, hay rides and NATURE.  When the weather turns cold or rainy, we come in
doors to our secure cabins and dining hall.
