Adventure Guide
You now can through our YMCA Adventure Guide Program. Parents, join with your children, ages 4 - 9 to create lifetime memories through shared experiences together. Moms & sons, dads & daughters, create any combination of your choosing. You'll also create lasting friendships with other parents and their children YMCA Adventure Guides (formerly Indian Guides) is a parent & child program for children ages 4 through 9 and their parent. The Adventure Guides provides many opportunities for quality interaction with your child through fun and organized activities. For busy parents, this simplifies planning... just pencil it on your calendar and show up! Both you and your child will meet new friends and form lasting friendships through this program! This program includes a strong emphasis on the parent & child doing activities together, earning patches that reflect the Adventure Guides core values and spending quality time together. Imagine hiking through the wilderness, going on campouts together, and participating in special events like a Pinewood Derbyrace, Swim and pizza parties at the YMCA, River Trips and more! Childhood is a special time; the Adventure Guides program is an ideal way to share the excitement as your child experiences many new things with you for the first time creating memories that last a lifetime.
