As a nonprofit organization, the Cherokee Outdoor YMCA is dedicated to reaching out to all children in the community, regardless of family income. Our membership dues and program fees are not used for this purpose. Instead, we must rely on the charitable contributions from local businesses and friends like you. Our Partner With Youth Campaign allows us to provide an opportunity for a child to participate in a YMCA program who would otherwise be unable to do so. All funds raised stay right here in our community and serve our children. If you or the company you work for would like to make a tax deductible donation give us a call at (770) 591-5820.  Thank you. 

Volunteer
Why volunteer?   Volunteering is a great way to get involved, give back to your community and create new friendships. Working on projects together creates a sense of accomplishment and pride while you personally demonstrate the four core values of the YMCA: honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. Raise your hand and make a positive difference today!

• Coach all of our youth sports teams
• Help with special events and community events
• Work with local school children through our outdoor education program
• Help raise funds during our Partner With Youth Campaign
• Be an active Board Member
