THE COACH APPROACH®
HELPING MEMBERS SUCCEED

Have you started an exercise program in the past and stopped? Many exercisers start and stop fitness programs for various reasons, but maintaining a habit is the most effective way to reach your health and fitness goals! THE COACH APPROACH® is a YMCA exercise support process designed to teach new and returning exercisers how to start and stick with their exercise program. At no additional cost, we will pair you with a personal wellness coach who will help design a workout program and monitor your progress using our interactive exercise tracking software, FitLinxx. FitLinxx enables users to record workouts, track their progress, and determine changes in strength training intensity. FITLINXXTM
FitLinxxTM  is an interactive exercise tracking software used to develop an exercise program specific to your needs. Make an appointment in registration to meet with a wellness coach who will make appropriate adjustments for each machine tailored to your range of motion & fitness level. Each time you workout, FitLinxxTM  will record your workout. An initial set-up appointment takes about 90 minutes. PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal training is ideal for individuals who are stuck in a rut with their exercise program, who need extra motivation or who want to enhance their workout. Certified and reliable fitness professionals perform an assessment to determine your fitness level, then design and implement an individualized plan to meet your fitness goals and needs. One-on-one and two-on-one sessions include the latest training techniques to maximize your results and help you reach your goals.

Contact Amie McDougal for further information on the YMCA personal trainers and their availability. Personal training appointments are made with the trainer.

Fees: $50/hour for one-on-one sessions                                            $30/half-hour for one-on-one sessions
           $35/hour each person for two-on-one sessions

ONLY COWART FAMILY ASHFORD DUNWOODY EMPLOYEES WHO ARE PERSONAL TRAINERS MAY TRAIN MEMBERS IN OUR FACILITY.

MASSAGE THERAPY
Cost per hour session: $55 Facility / $75 Program

Did that workout make you a little sore?  We can help!  The Ashford Dunwoody YMCA offers massage therapy.  But it isn't just for sore muscles.  Did you know that it has a myriad of other benefits too?   It improves immune functioning by increasing lymphatic flow.   It reduces stress level and improves circulatory functioning by increasing blood circulation and decreasing blood pressure.  It improves skin tone, reduces the effects of stress, makes your workouts more effective by stretching and working lactic acid out of muscle tissue.
